Being a Holy Spirit in Christ

Did you know that you can be holy in Christ? That’s right. It is Gods desire that you be holy, even as He is holy. God has given us everything we need to be a holy spirit in Christ. He has given us prayer, confession, and the body and blood of Jesus. God has given us grace and mercy. All of God’s gifts is given so that we too may be holy. When we do as Jesus did, we are becoming holy. Feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, clothing the naked, visiting the sick, and preaching the gospel to the prisoners are just a few things that holy people do. We must walk with God to be considered a holy spirit. Have you ever tried to do those things that God takes delight in? Have you given to the poor? Have you taken time out to help those in need? Jesus poured Himself out to us, and so we must pour ourselves out unto others. We should go the extra mile when asked. Do you mock God’s commandments, and go about your life doing as you please? We must try our best to live within His guidelines to be a holy spirit. God is holy. Jesus is holy. The Holy Spirit is holy. We must do all that we can to imitate God. Once you have done this, you too are holy. We must so all the things that The holy Spirit does. He is the great comforter. We must be full of the fruits of the spirit, and give out of our storehouse.
