Chewing the Cud in The Shadow of YAH
Have you ever been filled with The Word? I mean the feeling you get when you feel like you’ve heard or read enough? Like there isn’t anything that you haven’t heard or read? This is what happens to many people when they leave the church. Their belly gets full of The Word. They forget that they are supposed to chew the cud over and over again, for a blessing is within it. When you are abiding under the shadow of YAH, He will digest the cud for you so that you are continually coming back to Him after being full. In Hosea 14:7 it reads,
Those who dwell under His Shadow shall return; They shall be revived like grain, and grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
When we digest food properly we are continuing to grow in one way or the other. Every day brings a new life lesson. Are you chewing the cud in the shadow of YAH so that you may discern what’s on the plate for today? Destroy not the old wine, for there is a lesson in it-even a cluster. When you are in the shadow of YAH, you are like a tree who produces all manner of fruit. It is best served in the shade of The Almighty. Have you ever tried eating without cleaning your food first? Sure it can still be enjoyable, but there is nothing like having a clean meal. That is what the shadow of YAH does for us. In the shadow, you will find prayer and thanksgiving for every meal.
