Did you know that God can keep you from evil? And just not evil, but from all evil? We are quick to think that He can’t due to the trials in our lives; but trials aren’t necessarily evil. They are for our growing. Evil is when a person does something purposely to damage you. Sometimes you can do evil yourself. God will set you upon a rock, with your head lifted up above your enemies. He will hide you in His shadow. He will cloth you in His full armor. God will put you in His secret place. The Lord will walk with you, and keep you in His hand. These are just a few of the ways that God has promised to preserve His people. The bible lists each and every way that God will preserve His people. He can redeem, deliver, save and preserve. May His promise of preservation cover all those who are reading this, so you will have no worry. When something happens in life, you will know that God has already preserved you.
Psalm 121: 7-8 reads,
7 The Lord shall [a]preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve[b] your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
God can protect your going out and in. You will be blessed when you come and blessed when you go. Pray to God this day, that He may preserve you from all evil.
