Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain

Do you chase after things? Have you ever found yourself never having enough? Well, Godliness with contentment is great gain. When we know that we serve God and are in need of nothing-we have a peace that surpasses all understanding. We begin to realize that it is okay that we don’t have everything. Everything is not advantageous to us. God knows our needs; He meets us right where we are. When we accept the gifts that God has given us with a thankful heart, we won’t be looking at what our neighbors have. We don’t have to have the most expensive things. Who’s to say that they are better, because we don’t have them? The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. As God’s sheep, we should feed in His pasture.
