Did you know that if you are not chastened by The Lord that you are considered a bastard child? God chastens those whom He loves. He does it to bring us into a closer relationship with Him. He is perfect, so to dwell with Him we have to behave ourself in a perfect manner. He may punish us with dreams or difficulties in our life. He loves us. In order for us to be with Him for eternity, we must make some changes in our life. Surely, if God does not chasten you, your last resting place will not be with Him. So rejoice, when you are chastened of Him, for you know that you belong to Him.
