Have you ever wondered, what brings meaning to life? We are meant to be in the like image of God. We do this by closely following Him. How do we follow Him you ask? By keeping His laws, statutes and commandments. When one breaks them, they break communion with God. We are far away from Him when we continue in sin. Those who confess their sins and repents, God restores fellowship. From the keeping of His laws, statutes and commandments comes love and all the fruit of the spirit. We are like lost sheep when we stray away from His laws. They are meant to keep us. How else would we know His desire for our lives? They are like a fence around us. When we stay within the fence, we are feed from Him. He keeps us from all harm. If we have no boundaries, then the enemy has free will over our lives. We are living outside of the fence. When we keep God’s laws, statutes and commandments we are living fruitful lives. God blesses us for our faithfulness. There is meaning in the keeping of God’s laws, statutes and commandments.
