It was God’s goodness, grace and mercy that caused Him to send His beloved Son to the earth! He saw the need, and He met it. Being all good, God was obligated to do something out of His goodness. His Mercy also told Him that it cannot fail. God’s grace said that it would be sufficient for us. Jesus was sent to accomplish His Father’s will; He did goodness, grace and mercy. Of course, it would eventually lead him to the cross where God’s goodness, grace and mercy would be on full display. It is because of this that God’s goodness, grace and mercy can now chase believers. It is displayed all over our lives. It is given to us, and we give it out. This is how we know that we are His. Walking in His fruit should be most important to the believer for God says that if we have no goodness, grace and mercy we are cast away. We should be careful to keep His fruit. Now, God’s goodness, grace and mercy are yours for the taking!
