Did you know that when you believe in Jesus and God accepts you into the fold that you become the new covenant? In the bible it says,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
So we see here that the old covenant was only a shadow of things to come. We now have a better covenant within ourselves. Did you know that you are ONE with the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus? He gave you the new covenant within yourself. Matthew 26:26 says,
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
So you see here how the covenant is within us. We are His new covenant people.
