Are you a person with a lot of possessions? Do you care for those who are around you? Do you look after the poor? If you have a lot of possessions, it may be a sign that you are not blessing others as God blesses you. When you die you cannot take things with you to heaven, nor can you give a ransom for your soul. The riches of this world are moth eaten. Those who have a lot it will testify in their day of visitation. You can do everything perfectly, but if you are rich, God still requires you to sell your possessions. In the bible it says, ‘Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.’ For where your heart is there ye shall also be. Matthew 19:21 reads, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. The more you have, the more The Messiah is going to ask of you. Do you want to live your life as a king upon this earth, only to miss out on the true treasure in the kingdom? God loves just and honest scales. Proverb says, ‘Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me.’ A just balance is of The Lord and all the mweights in the bag are His doing.
